I loved this thoughtful piece about how we show up in life is more meaningful than the possession we might leave behind. My favourite quote from the piece is this: âwhat if the best gift we could give them wasnât what we left â but what they saw us live?â Thanks Benthall Slow Travel!
đ Travel Reading
If youâve been to Amsterdam or are planning to go, What Happens in Amsterdam by Rachel Lynn Solomon is a fun book to read.
I went to Amsterdam for the first time in July this year and it was so fun to read about Poffertjes, why the houses lean and the cycling culture in this beautiful city. It reminded me of my time exploring this beautiful European cityâhighly recommend!
The book follows an American woman who crashes into her first love Wouter and they find themselves in a marriage-of-convenience and even rekindles their romance.
A true rom-com on a page.
