I stayed in Naoussa, and I chose to go in shoulder season, which was a perfect choice (for me)… far less crowds than Santorini, quaint, walkable, and the weather was still amazing. I tend to like the smaller, more peaceful enclaves, and Naoussa definitely ticked those boxes for me. I also love to run in early mornings, and it was amazing for that… felt very safe, and gorgeous oceanside paths for it (albeit some hills from the little village upward back to my bnb!) Go there. I think you will find amazing photos! I will share some I have as I get there on my page, but I am sure yours would be better!

Sounds amazing.

Haha you're too kind, photography is just a really fun hobby of mine and taking personal travel photos I find are great for stirring up memories when I look back on those photos in the future.

We went to Greece for our honeymoon and loved Santorini. We really enjoyed staying in Perissa (because that’s where our package booked us 😂) and loved the restaurants on the black sand beach.

Yes! I found perrisa much "calm" than the main fira and oia area, those areas were insanely crowded! Honeymoon in santorini sounds like a dream 😍

Santorini is such an awesome place for photographers. The only problem is taking photos without crowds of tourists in your frames. Stunning photos, by the way. They brought back so many memories from my visit to the island.

Couldn't agree more!

It's near IMPOSSIBLE to take photos without crowds! But it was easy in Pyrgos, a very quiet little village totally worth visiting.

Thank you for your kind words on my photos too, it's honestly hard to take a bad shot on Santorini :D

I would love to visit some of the other Greek islands around there, have you been besides Santorini?

I have been to Crete as well. It's a very nice place, but of course, Santorini stands out more for its landscapes and the typical Greek houses built on the hills.
